Dr. Andals Lakshmi Fertility Clinic was established on June 30th, 1989 in the heart of Nellore city by Dr. S. Bhaskar and Dr. S. Andal Bhaskar, providing first class medical care in infertility, obstetrics and gynecology. Till now we have treated more than thousands of infertility patients through our Best infertility center in India. Our philosophy is to make the patient more confident and to provide a Home in the Hospital atmosphere so that they come out of the problem and they were treated as per the schedule. The stress and negative attitude towards the problem of infertility is due to the result of conflict between self-esteem, and social / family pressure. Because of emotional stress and low self-esteem, the couple forgets that pregnancy is the natural function of the body and look the problem of infertility as very a difficult disease and insurmountable problem and takes treatment with doubt, anxiety and disbelief. So pregnancy is elusive inspite of treatment and correction of physical factors in some cases. The solution is, if the couple takes treatment with confidence or in a relaxed way once the physical factors are corrected conception occurs easily. It has been our own experience and the experience of many practitioners that after correcting physical problems conception occurs easily and surprisingly when the couple is diverted from anxiety by way of marriage, death of a relative, shifting of the house, going on vacation etc. They could conceive easily and naturally just like all other normal people because they behave normally, and are not thinking about pregnancy.

Based on our observations, we found that educating the couple is a major part of the treatment.

 

Patient education was carried in different ways


Counselling

The main purposes of counselling are to explore, understand and resolve issues arising from infertility and infertility treatment and to clarify ways of dealing with the problem more effectively. Following different types of counselling are conducted routinely in our hospital to boost up the self-confidence of the patient. General counselling, Specific or customized counselling, One-to-One counselling, Sexual Counselling, Infertility Meetings (Interactive sessions) with Audio - Visuals.

Meetings

Infertility meetings are given special emphasis and are conducted twice a month on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. All patients along with their family members are encouraged to attend the interactive sessions. The couples taking treatment are free to ask questions. Opportunity is given to all to express their opinion. For each meeting 3 or 4 conceived couples will share their experience. Audio visual presentation will be done by the Doctors.

Production of audio-visuals

We believe in a holistic form of treating infertility by technology and also addressing psychological (emotions and feelings), Sexual and Social dimensions of the couple. Conception is easy when body and mind of the couple are aligned rather than treatment of the body by technology alone.
